KARL BERGENSTAL, Ph.D.

Hello and welcome to my practice. I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Camarillo, CA. I specialize in working with adults with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement and chronic pain. I also see couples.

Understanding that all persons have problems, I strive to create a safe and trusting rapport with my patients to allow them to feel comfortable sharing their issues with me. I believe optimal emotional health is balancing individual responsibility for one's psychological well being and creating loving attachments with others. My therapeutic approach is interpersonal/cognitive-behavioral.
